Not advice
Reading these pages does not replace talking with a lawyer, veterinarian, insurance agent or certified behaviorist.
Local variation
State statutes, county ordinances, association covenants, leases and insurer terms each affect whether a given dog is allowed. Check each one directly.
No assurances about a dog
Every dog is an individual animal. This site predicts nothing about how a particular dog will act.
Pictures
The photographs are illustrations only. No pictured dog is being offered, and none shows an available animal.
Money and methods
No prices are quoted because we hold no verified Virginia figures. We also do not explain how to teach bite work or any protection technique.
